We were there for 1 night, overall had an EXCELLENT stay. The hotel itself was exceptionally comfortable, the breakfast was great. Its location approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Association Hermione la Fayette was stunning and exceptional.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location by the river in a park was absolutely stunning, perfect for those who enjoy taking their dogs for walks. The hotel is situated in a quiet street, ensuring a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The service provided by the staff was impeccable, with excellent room service and housekeeping. I was also impressed with the range of amenities provided, including an ironing facility, air conditioning, and a terrace with garden furniture. The room was spacious and comfortable, with soundproofed walls ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The hotel also had a lovely outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace, perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying a refreshing swim. my experience here was top-notch.

This place is a charming old hotel with great quality, a gourmet restaurant, and professional staff, offering nicely decorated, reasonably large rooms with comfortable beds.

The hotel is conveniently located near the old arsenal, the maritime museum, and the river Charante. the rooms are spacious and well-appointed with clean bedding and towels. the reception staff were welcoming, and the hotel offered free parking. the hotel has a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the river, perfect for enjoying a drink or a meal. the swimming pool is superb and surprisingly underused.

Some areas of the hotel could do with a bit of maintenance or renovation.
